Course Description
"Noise" is nuisance thing for earthquake observation but useful for site selection. "Noise survey" is one of effective methods to evaluate the site condition for earthquake observation. In this lecture, the characteristics of "noise", several techniques and equipment for "noise survey" are introduced. Practice of "noise survey" on different site condition at the outdoors and analysis by you are required.
