The IISEE (International Institute of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering)
has conducted a research project entitled "Information Network on
Earthquake Disaster Prevention Technologies" in 2000.4～2003.3.
This project aimed at accumulating and diffusing valuable technical information
in order to contribute to disaster prevention efforts in earthquake-vulnerable
countries.
This site is providing results of this three-year research project. The
IISEE will keep improving this site by upgrading and expanding information
database.
