Mexico City seismic resistant design provision : issued in 1942, revised in 1957, 1976, 1985, 1987 and 1993.
The latest seismic code is “Reglamento de Construcciones para el Distrito Federal [Construction Regulations for the Federal District (1993)]” and “Normas Tecnicas Complementarias para Diseno por Sismo [Auxiliary Technical Notes for Seismic Design (1987)]”.

These codes excluding seismic coefficients and spectral accelerations are adopted in other states of Mexico as seismic codes.
