2) Formula

The relation between the amplification factor for acceleration / velocity and average shear-wave velocity of surface soil was proposed as follows based on the K-net records and the velocity logging at the sites. The average shear-wave velocity was calculated based on two definitions, namely the method based on the total running time (AVS_T) and the method using the thickness of the layers as the weight (AVS_L). The objective layers were selected based on the model analysis.
