As mentioned in the title: two specific objective of the study. one is to develop displacement based evaluation procedure for boundary element confinement requirement of shear wall with respect to the seismicity and shear wall building characteristics in Bangladesh. 2nd objective is to develop the retrofit design method for boundary wall confinement of the shear wall.
