Buildings that play a vital role after a destructive event, they are essential in providing services to the population.
ex. Military centers, police stations, hospitals, fire stations, communication centers and power stations

A

Buildings that are important in the manufacture of goods and in the maintenance of security and order in the city and those buildings that provide essential services to the population those are not included in Group A₀.
ex. Governmental centers, military and police buildings, hospitals and health care centers, educational facilities, movie theaters, stadiums and big hotels

B

Buildings whose damage would result in losses of intermediate magnitude.
ex. Private houses and all the public buildings or commercial and industrial centers that are not included in Group A.

C

Buildings that, if damaged, would cause almost no economic loss or could not harm buildings included in previous categories.
ex. Containers, stables, sheds and silos
