In Costa Rica there are two main public institutions that follow Seismic Activity the region, as so there are two different Seismic Networks, The RSN (National Seismic Network), which belongs to the University of Costa Rica (UCR) and the National Electricity Institute (ICE), and the OVSICORI (Costa Ricafs Volcanic and Seismic Observatory ), which belongs to the National University (UNA).
