4. Title:  Seismic Observation in the Republic of Korea

5. Abstract:
The Korea Meteorological administration (KMA) has an on-line Seismograph network which is composed of 12 local seismic stations. This seismic network can monitor all the seismic events including micro-scale earthquake and tsunami-genic earthquake occurring from a bottom of the ocean. KMA operates a Very Broad Band Seismograph observatory and also participates in the International Coordination Group for the Tsunami Warming System in the Pacific territory.
