in Santiago, the capital city of Chile from January 9 to 13. WCEE is
the
world’s largest international conference in the field of earthquake
engineering and is held once every four years.

In Hiroshima we visited the site of the Atomic Bomb Dome and
Peace Memorial Museum in the Peace Memorial Park.

(2)Mr. Innocent Gibbon Masukwedza (Zimbabwe)
We visited Hiroshima Peace Memorial commonly called the Atomic
Bomb Dome or Genbaku Domu, in Hiroshima; which is part of the
Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and was designated a UNESCO
World Heritage Site in 1996.

[3] 7 Journalists from Latin American countries have visited IISEE

A group of influential media journalists from 7 countries of Latin
America (7 people from Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador,
Paraguay,
Peru, and Venezuela) who came to Japan with the invitation project
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have visited IISEE on Feb 1st.
