Results of Tsunami Simulation
Tsunami simulations performed by tsunami-course participants to assess the tsunami hazard for their countries. They used the TUNAMI codes originally developed by Tohoku University, Japan.
The each webpage shows:
(a) tsunami source models; location of fault, magnitude, fault length and width, top depth of the fault, slip amount, and focal mechanism,
(b) computational settings; spatial grid size, location of output points, and
(c) calculated maximum tsunami heights at the output points.
The details of the participants' studies are described in their master reports and the synopses are available at IISEE's website.
