BRI and IISEE are situated in the Tsukuba Science City, which is located 60 km to the northeast of the Tokyo.
Tsukuba Express（TX）
From Akihabara
- •45 min. (Rapid) Get off at “Tsukuba” (last stop). Walk up to the Exit A4 for the bus terminal to transfer to a local bus (*).
Highway Express Bus JR Bus or Kanto-Tetsudo Bus
From Yaesu (South Exit) of Tokyo Station
- •Take a bus for “Tsukuba Center” or “Tsukuba University.” Get off at “Tsukuba Center” to transfer to a local bus (*).
Japan Railways (JR)・Local Bus
JR Jyoban Line
- •Approx. 41 min. Get off at “Hitachino Ushiku” to transfer to Kanto-Tetsudo Bus for “Kenchiku Kenkysho” (last stop).
- •Get off at “Hitachino Ushiku” to transfer to JR Bus for “Tsukuba Center” or Kanto-Tetsudo Bus for either “Tsukuba University Chuo” or “Tsukuba Center”. Then get off at “Tsukuba Center” to transfer to a local bus (*).
- •Get off at “Arakawa-oki West Exit” to take Kanto-Tetsudo Bus for “Tsukuba Center.” Then get off at “Tsukuba Center” to transfer to a local bus (*).
- •Get off at “Tsuchiura East Exit” to take Kanto-Tetsudo Bus for either “Tsukuba University Chuo” or “Tsukuba Center.” Then get off at “Tsukuba Center” to transfer to a local bus (*).

Departure from “Tsukuba Center”
- ・Terminal 5: Take Kanto-Tetsudo Bus for “Kenchiku Kenkyusho.” (last stop) (approx. 18 min.)
- ・Terminal 5: Take Kanto-Tetsudo Bus for “Shimozuma Station.” Then get off at “Kyoshokuin Shien Kikou.” (approx. 15min.) Walk to “Kenchiku Kenkyusho” for 5 min.
- ・Terminal 3: Take Tsuku Bus or North Shuttle for “Tsukubasan-guchi”(the starting point to Tsukuba Mountain ascent). Then get off at “Oho Madoguchi Center.” (approx.15min.) Walk to “Kenchiku Kenkyusho” for 15 min.
