Oct. 9th we have visited the Tokyo Low Land, so called Shita-machi in Japanese. Our first destination was the Edo-Tokyo Museum, where we can know the history from 17th century till today of Tokyo. Its ancient name was Edo in the Shogunate period (1603 to 1868). After taking lunch in Yokoami-cho Park we moved to the Life Safety Learning Center, so called Honjo-Bosai-Kan in Japanese and had the experiences of strong ground motion, evacuation from submerged vehicle, firefighting and heavy storm.
