Thursday, July 7th was such a day with lots of events for both of us, participants of
Latin American Earthquake Engineering Course (Latin American Course) and staff of IISEE.

How are you? Now Japan is in the middle of summer.
Every two years we publish YEAR BOOK and this year we will publish new one.

3. Dr. Nakata passed away on July 13th.
It is with great sorrow that we have received the sad news of the sudden and
untimely passing of our former director, Dr. Shinsuke Nakata on the 13th of July, 2016.
