1. Courtesy Call on the MLIT Minister

By Mr. Takahiro Yamada, Head of Administration Division, IISEE On August 29, 2018-2019 training participants paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Keiichi Ishii, Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism. Please see the Newsletter attached on page 1&2.

2. 9 Participants Completed the 2018-2019 Training Course

By Mr. Takahiro Yamada, Head of Administration Division, IISEE On Sep 10 we had a closing ceremony of training courses in Seismology, Earthquake Engineering and Tsunami Disaster Mitigation which had started on Oct 2, last year. Please see the Newsletter attached on page 2&3.

3. GRIPS Graduation Ceremony

By Mr. Takahiro Yamada, Head of Administration Division, IISEE In cooperation with JICA and the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), IISEE can award the degree of Master of Disaster Management to all participants who gained predetermined results. Please see the Newsletter attached on page 3&4.
