1. The 2021 Global Seismological Observation Training Course Closed

The 2021 Global Seismology Observation course which started on January 14th, 2022 was closed on Friday, March 6th, 2022.
At the online graduation ceremony held by JICA Tsukuba, all the 10 participants from Bhutan, Egypt, India, Iran, Kenya, Nepal, Philippines,
Uganda received the certificates from Mr. Watanabe, Director general of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Tsukuba and
Dr. Midorikawa, the president of Building Research Institute (BRI).

2. Brief Impression of a Story by A-bomb Servivor: Hoping for World Peace

With a broken heart, I listened to the events of the Hiroshima catastrophe.
I can’t imagine how much pain these people suffered during facing this atomic bomb.
It is an incident, which is described as brutal and inhuman.

3. Site visit to the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan

16 of IISEE course participants visited the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI) on the morning of March 11th,
while the rest of the three took an online tour remotely from their home countries.
