On Global Seismological Observation Course has started from January 9.
This year, 9 participants from 6 countries (Democratic Republic of the Congo(1), Egypt(2), Kazakhstan(2), Nepal(2), Thailand(1), Timor-Leste(1)) join this course.

In the IISEE seminar held on February 7 and 8, Dr. Hiroshi Inoue (Visiting Researcher of the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Resilience, Visiting Research Fellow of the IISEE, and Part-time Researcher of the Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University) gave a presentation entitled “Earthquake Observation Projects I have been involved in: Their challenges and future.”
