1. Overseas supplementary training program for Latin America training course

Overseas supplementary training program for Latin America training
in 2019 was held in El Salvador between 15th and 27th of July.

2. Closing Ceremony of the training course “Improvement and Dissemination of Earthquake-resistant Construction Technology in Latin America”

The closing ceremony of the mentioned course was performed in San Salvador
city, on July 26th, after two weeks of the structural tests and related
lectures. (Photo. 1 and 2).

3. The final Presentation
By Mr. Takahiro Yamada, Head of Administration Division, IISEE
Participants in regular courses had individual studies with their professors in
various places in Japan to write the master thesis from May 20th.

4. An ex-participant from Colombia visited IISEE
By Dr. Toshihide Kashima, Research Engineer of IISEE
Mr. Luis M. Hernandez who had studied in IISEE in 1988-89 in Earthquake
Engineering Course as a participant from Colombia visited IISEE July 30, 2019.
