1. Professional lectures on disaster management policy

As One-Year Training Course held at the International Institute of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering (IISEE) is cooperating
with the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), it is possible to obtain a master’s degree.

2. Symposium jointly hosted by National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) and Building Research Institute (BRI) – January 16, 2023
A symposium jointly hosted by the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies and the Building Research Institute will be held on Monday, January 16, 2023.

We are glad to invite you to online IISEE seminars by Prof. Imamura at IRIDeS, Tohoku University,

4. The final lecture by Dr. Furumura, Earthquake Research Institute, the University of Tokyo

6. 2022 Meeting of International Platform for Reducing Earthquake Disasters (IPRED)

We held the IPRED meeting (online) on the 8th and 10th of Nov. 2022 (Japan Standard Time).
IPRED is a UNESCO project implemented by IISEE and the leading organization of 10 countries,
which keeps a firm connection with IISEE through ODA-based JICA projects and IISEE’s international training program.

7. Visit and exchange of views by a delegation from the Kingdom of Cambodia

On Thursday, November 24, we received a delegation of 19 members of the Ministry of Land and Infrastructure of the Kingdom of Cambodia,
mediated by the International Affairs Section of the Planning Department, BRI.
